I know, imagine I’d made a 10 foot cake? Literally I would never let anyone cut it. Sometimes it is hard to let go… But then again the cake’s purpose is to be eaten, right?

that is a stupendous cake and I think if I had made it I wouldnt let anyone eat it for a while just so we could all admire my handiwork. Like one of the other comment leavers I thought it was about 10ft to start with – was quietly relieved when I realised it wasn’t.
